2013 Paris and Barcelona

In 2013 students traveled from Paris to the Loire valley discovering the country’s rich culture and history – from the galleries of the Palais du Louvre to the inspiring architecture of the châteaux at Amboise and Chenonceau.  The streets of Pamplona will forever be on their minds as they walked the same streets used for the fiestas of San Fermin, know internationally as the Running of the Bulls.  Further south, they visited the French Basque country before reaching the city of Barcelona, Spain.  In Barcelona, students were able to see the sites of the 1992 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXV Olympiad.  Like Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Segrada Familia’s surreal façade was unforgettable in its own unique way.  The last stop was at Park Güell, one of Gaudi master peace with its amazing stone structures and beautiful mosaics.
