2009 Paris and the French Riviera

In 2009, students set out for the City of Light.  Once in Paris, they ventured into the traditional shops to buy unique Parisian treasures, sat at a café and ordered a diabolo menthe and croque-monsieur, strolled through the place du Tertre in Montmartre and chatted with the local artists, and immersed into this new experience.

After a taste of the Parisian life, they embarked on the TGV, highspeed train, to the more relax pace of the country side.  They visited the Amphitheatre of Nîmes, an entirely intact temple from the 1st century BC and saw the Pont du Gard aqueduct, marvel of Antiquity.
